More Hacks on Twitter

It seems that after hacking Burger King's Twitter account, there has been a raising concern regarding service's security measures. Recently a CBS News "60 minutes" and "48 hours" twitter accounts had been compromised. The hackers were  using the social media on news accounts to make fake claims, one of which stated that "General Dempsey calls for #Obama's arrest under new anti-terror laws #48hours."

Twitter staff worked along with CBS crew to solve this problem. Again, incidents like this bring security to question. If big companies such as CBS are getting hacked, then it seems that regular users cannot be ensured of their safety. Besides, even a group of hackers that go by the name "Anonymous" have had their twitter account hacked. Think about it, Anonymous were behind many break ins with high level of security, and yet they were victims of Twitter hacking spree.

It looks like we can never be sure of our safety on Twitter.
